Reports indicate that 400,000 Canadians are likely to die due to superbugs (bacteria) in the coming 30 years. The over usage of antibodies is predominantly to blame for the creation of resistant bugs that are immune to treatment. We discuss the implications of this and how bacteriophages pose an interesting solution.
