Previously on... Evan Gold is a private detective in Athens, Kansas.  His head is swimming after the strange events of the week - his partner is murdered, the widow and the police name him suspect number one in the recent murders, and Evan needs to find the real murderer before he ends up in Leavenworth.

Where is Harold Huber?  That is the million-dollar question!  Detective Evan Gold gets a slight reprieve from the case when a cinema manager brings in a new case.  However, Sophie wants Evan to have nothing to do with it.  Will the murder of Gabe Silver be the straw that breaks not only Evan, but the whole town of Athens Kansas?
