The current corona virus pandemic will have far reaching economic social and political implications. It will force people to actually ask hard questions and start to examine hard realities. where this all goes is unclear. But a few things are clear already. As the money disappears and as we face increasingly hard times people in many different countries are going to put their governments under the microscope. Some of the results may not be pretty.

For instance here in Canada we see the government prefers to keep illegal border crossings open even as the threat to Canadians increases.
