Hello Friends, Welcome to A Stern View Podcast! This is a sailing podcast that is meant to be a "Cruisers Guide to Anchorages". I feel there are a lot of great interview based sailing podcasts so I decided to try something different and bring you reports and reviews from the anchorages themselves. Each episode is recorded at the anchorage, usually the morning after I have spent or night or two on the hook or sometimes on a mooring ball. In this episode we talk about the amazing anchorage of Cabrillo Harbor on Catalina Island. After an adventurous departure from Button Shell Beach, getting prop'd by our dinghy line and Camille diving to free it. We dropped a stern and bow anchor at Cabrillo Beach in 17 feet of water.
