Christmas is traditionally a time of joy, that time of year where you catch up with friends and loved ones, enjoy the festivities, swap gifts and watch children bask in the excitement of it all. For most, it's a happy time of year, but for some, it can be the darkest.

For one tragic family in County Kilkenny, in Ireland, Christmas time indeed is their darkest of times - this one being the 15th in a row for them. This time around on The True Crime Enthusiast Podcast, I shall tell you exactly why.

The episode contains details and descriptions of crimes and events, involving  descriptions of a sexual nature, and involving children, that some listeners may find disturbing and or distressing, so discretion is advised whilst listening.
