I've been anticipating this interview for a while and it did not disappoint! My sassy friend Lisa Lister is back on the podcast today talking about loving your lady landscape, harnessing the power of being a woman with a cyclic nature, and why we need to reclaim the word "Witch." Lisa has written three books, Code Red, Love Your Lady Landscape and Witch, all three of which have had a massive impact on my life, so not only is she a friend, I consider her a mentor as well. She is my go-to maven for embracing the full experience and wisdom of the menstrual cycle. AND this woman speaks the bone deep truth (which means not skirting the darker, more taboo aspects of anything). We talked about patriarchy, sisterhood, self-care and debated whether or not consistency is all it's cracked up to be. Enjoy! About Lisa Lister: Crowned ‘the defender of female awesomeness’ by Cooler magazine, Lisa Lister is an advocate of the FULL female experience. She's a writer, a menstrual maven and creatrix of the SHE Flow system - movement, women's wisdom and menstrual health + 'down-there' care practices - dedicated to helping women crack their lady code, reconnect with their body wisdom + love their lady landscape. In this episode, Lisa shares: 1. A definition of witch and how the word was taken from us 2. Navigating the fear of visibility that comes with doing the work you're called to do in life 3. Fierce reverence and why it's important to find your own roots 4. Spiritual exploration and understanding the roots of sacred lineages and traditions before incorporating them into your own life and practices
