On EP 128 of The Thinkergirls Pod Channel, Stacey June and Kristie Mercer creators of some of the most successful female podcasts and content in Australia have their weekly chinwag to discuss who our exes end up with after us and whether we can predict the kind of person their new partner will be when you look at the parts of yourself that worked and didn't work in the relationship + Kristie weighed herself for the first time in 7 years and was really surprised at the result

12 – Who will your exes end up with after you, will it be a version of you? For Stace it was the case…

20 – Bro culture: why do some women accept it?

20 – One year post breakup, Kristie has been thinking about this a lot.

11 – There is a disconnect between Kristie’s last relationship and her ex, that it feels like another life.

42 – Kristie knows the kind of girl her ex is going to end up with.

06 – Like attracts like, but does the law of attraction work when you’re not feeling with your gut?

47 – Stace and Kristie are doing a 9 week fitness challenge, for fitness NOT for weight loss.

23 – The pre-exam was super intense, it included a “body scan”.

31 – Kristie has not checked her weight in 7 years because of her struggle with Bulemia when she was younger.

39 – Scales were not something that ever occurred to Stacey to buy when she first moved out of home. For Kristie it felt like something was missing from her home without them.

06 – Kristie was surprised by the number on the scale when she finally weighed herself.

05 – Sharing your “number” is so unhealthy, because your confronting number could be someone’s goal weight. Everyone is different, it shouldn’t be defined by a number on a scale.

41 – Skinny doesn’t equal healthy.

26 – Kristie is in a place where she is comfortable in her body and feels healthy. Her number doesn’t impact that, but she can still have a moment to acknowledge it.
