Sometimes it’s odd to look back on your professional life and pinpoint particular areas that led you to the entrepreneur you are today.

Have you ever taken the time to do this?

For LLCU founder, Matt Horwitz, the journey began as an agent representing real estate investors in Philadelphia, PA.

For tax purposes, many realty investments come the creation of LLC’s. After creating LLC after LLC for his clients, Matt realized he was becoming a bit of a pro at it and recognized an opportunity to teach LLC creation to entrepreneurs (not just real estate investors) throughout Pennsylvania.

It wasn’t long after seeing success in the state of Pennsylvania that Matt realized he had to scale the business. He had he perfect name, “LLC University” that he could not part from. He was sure this name would take him nationwide.

Unfortunately, an attorney out of Utah owned the URL and was not going to let it go for cheap.

As you will hear in today’s Millennovator Podcast episode, Matt doesn’t go into anything half-heartedly. It is obvious in his passionate, dynamic personality. Enthusiasm oozes through him.

Prior to any real revenue in LLCU, Matt purchased all $16,000 of the domain name on credit by maxing out several cards.

Right as LLCU began turning decent revenue in the form of paying subscribers, Matt had a gut feeling to pivot the business model. His plan? Give all of the information away for free.

He then went on to see a dynamic increase in traffic and has become a highly profitable business which teaches tens of thousands of entrepreneurs everything they need to know for creating an LLC in their state.

Yes, he has step-by-step instructions for all fifty states and over 700,000 words on the site.

Check out how to form an LLC in your state here and hear the full story behind LLCU on today’s episode of The Millennovator Podcast.
