In this episode, we discussed the adventure of reading the Bible. We raised practical questions of understanding this living text, lifting the importance of historical context, particularly in relation to the Old Testament. Metaphorical readings of the Bible can be essential to its understanding but drawing the line is difficult. Through integrating realistic and healthy attitudes towards reading the Bible in our lives, we hope to help our faiths thrive!
