|||The Trojan Kings Of England: http://www.troy-in-england.co.uk/trojan-kings-of-england/trojan-kings-of-england.htm | Iman Wilkins (1936-2018): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Where_Troy_Once_Stood | Heinrich Schleimann: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heinrich_Schliemann | Bronze Age Boats: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJ4_aaiUa0s | The Broze Dark Age 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PPAwQ1GXlak | The Broze Dark Age 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bRcu-ysocX4 | Europe's Earliest Battle? The Mystery of the Tollense Valley: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=--yUuR_F_wU | Britain's Pompeii: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ShfJBBMOrik | Must Farm: http://www.mustfarm.com/ | Uluburun Shipwreck (VERY LONG!): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xz1eiAY18EY | MAP: https://goo.gl/maps/mxne6WNHN23waYSs7 || My take: The "Sea People" were the real survivors of the Trojan War. They fled in panic from some kind of "plague" or "pestilence" that was making the army in front of "Troy" sick, but carried it back to their homes, spreading the plague far and wide. The plague destroyed the northern European Bronze Age societies as it spread along the river-bound trading networks, and the survivors took to the Mediterranean Sea, flowing from West to East, both spreading the plague further, and destroying whatever was left. Only Egypt survived, and that, only barely, and the Egyptians did not understand what had actually happened. The survivors conquered their new territories, and named their new homes for their old ones, in the same way as Boston and New York were names, centuries later. |||
