Discernment is critical to the life of a believer in Jesus Christ. It always has been, but our current social culture that values relative truth and personal meaning above all, it is even more important. So, what even is discernment? Many Christians struggle both with defining and practicing this essential tool that God has given us to navigate the world around us. We hear a lot of talk about how important it is, but we rarely ever stop to think about what it really looks like in the day to day.

In this first episode of the Right and Almost Right podcast, we explore: 

- four current views of what discernment looks like

- the benefits and downfalls of each view

- what the Bible says about what discernment really is

- and practical tips for practicing discernment in our lives.

This episode will barely scratch the surface of what discernment looks like, but I hope to provide a jumping off point for further study, and the tools to begin to grow in this much needed area of our Christian walk.
