Welcome it's Monday August 6th and Summer is not over but we are on the downward turn of the summer for many of us.
We have 2 new groups, we started, make sure you go and join as this is a community of like-minded people working together. Many with their own expertise and can help with questions and problems. With their own unique skill set based on their area of expertise.

In this episode we are going to talk about The Business of Drowning Prevention
Drowning prevention is a business with many different parts to it. From the nonprofit sector to the profit sector. We must all work together. We all are working toward a similar goal, that we do not want to see another child or adult drown, whether that is in a pool or an open body of water.
We have a topic and question that comes from Paul DeMello his Facebook page Just Against Children Drowning

Make sure you connect with him, show your support and how you can help. We are all in this community and need to work together and support one another in any way we can, even if that is with our information and what we know.
He suggests an area the we should look at is this.

Imagine you are flying over a housing development just about anywhere. You look down and see backyard pools. You notice that these pools are right up against the house with little to no space between the back door and the pool. No room for barrier fencing. Where a child can slip right out the door and wind up in the pool. It happens every day.
What can we do to fix this problem going forward? There is a fix we need to identify the problem and then provide a solution to the problem. We as a community can do just that.
There are many experts that are part of this community already and many that will be coming in. All that have an opinion and with a group discussion we can work as a team to fix it. That is how business works. We are problem solvers. Let's work on the problem.
