We discuss a issue many people struggle with: keeping their word. But when it comes to organizations, the outcome of "not following through" can effect the culture and the growth of the organization.
Typically when a leader is giving vision and casting goals for the church or organization, they're is a tendency to get lost in the hype and ignore the work and commencement needed to reach those goals. And without a strong self examination a leader can subconsciously seek the praise and momentum created in the beginning, while completely ignoring the FOLLOW through and COMPLETION of the goals.
How to address:
-Identify "non follow through habit"
-Create a new project(simple and small) and delegate to someone that "follows though"
-Assist in the project(don't lead)
-Give credit publicly to whom it due
They're are many more methods that could be applied; seek knowledge and leaders always be willing to step back and learn.
