The last 5 years I've been traveling for work. Whether I've traveled for work or leisure what has become clear, little expenses and lack of planning add up. 

I love travelling. I've done so much travel over more than 20 years. Up until the last 12 months I still relied on my credit card to be a back up plan when traveling. In only 3 weeks time I will have officially paid off 3 credit cards totally $16,000. I'm determined to longer be reliant on a credit card at all, whether at home or on the road. That is the inspiration for episode 41 of Adding Up the podcast. I'm documenting my travel mistakes that impacted my finances and blew my budget.
