I want to start by sharing that it's Grief Awareness week and in this episode I'm joined by the incredible Clare Marriott for an inspiring conversation about grief. Please note that Clare shares about her experience of baby loss in this episode.
Clare has experienced huge loss in her life and in today’s episode she vulnerably shares about her experience of miscarriage and the grief that comes with loss, in a society that isn’t taught to deal with this huge part of life... death.
As part of her grief experience, Clare's path has taken her on a shamanic journey and she shares how plant medicine has supported her grief. It's a beautiful conversation about topics that need to be shared.
Clare is a multidimensional practitioner working as a Leadership Coach with creatives & consultants all over the globe. She helps them to recover from burnout, manage stress & navigate big changes to lead extraordinary lives. What I love about Clare is that she bridges the worlds between old and new, weaving together modern techniques and ancient practices in the most beautiful way, as she’s also a Shamanic Healer. In this episode, she talks about her beautiful teachings from the Peruvian Amazon & Andean Mountains, which she has studied deeply.
I hope this episode sparks curiosity and conversation, and as always, I would love to hear what you think. Enjoy.
*It is important to note that Ayahuasca is a Plant Medicine that is native to South America and used by indigenous cultures as part of their sacred lineage. It is illegal in the UK and it isn't suitable for everyone. Many other modalities can be just as powerful, such as meditation or breathwork. If/When you are exploring ceremonies in parts of the world that it is legal, please do your research and ensure you are entering into a safe and held space.
