College and professional sports have each taken their own approaches to restarting during the pandemic. The West Coast Conference, of which Saint Mary’s is a member, is about ready to restart and the first contact sport up is men’s and women’s basketball. The WCC shut all its sports down in mid March and only golf been allowed to resume.
