EP05-LQOTD-05-How do you lead a team?
As a startup manager we have to learn leadership on the fly. That is why we want to bring bitesize leadership education to you as a startup leader.
The Format "Leadership Question of the Day" is a short answer to a leadership question we received and will be published every morning ready for you to start the day.
Read along:
Leadership question of the day is how do you lead a team? So how do you lead a team? I would say start with creating a we, which means creating a team in the first hand. Get people understanding each other deeper than just, Hey, I'm your colleague. I work in this field. This is my role. Go deeper and get them understanding each other.
Get them knowing each other from a human aspect. That's a key part. If you are not doing that, then you are not a proper team. My personal opinion. Then the next thing is getting a direction so that everyone understands this is the direction of travel, there is where we want to go. Very simple, very easy. That's it for today. See you tomorrow at the next leadership question of the day.
