This week on the PROGTALKS we are talking to the musicians from Norwegian band Laughing Stock about their recently released album “Zero, acts 1&2”. We get to learn about the history of the band and the long-running friendship of the musicians involved. We also dive into all the inspirations that have informed the highly eclectic progressive music of the band. Finally, we speak a little about the highly relevant themes and concept of the album, the story of the main character “Zero”, the challenges of isolation, and of growing up without attention or love. The Norwegians also share a little bit about what the future holds for the Laughing Stock, and when we can expect to hear “Zero acts 3 &4”.
