“If you want to rape someone, make sure them above 18.” said one male teacher while class discussing laws that protect minors from sexual abuse and harassment. 80% of sexual harassment, bullying cases involved teachers and school authorities said by All Women’s Action Services (AWAM). This is something that is happening in Malaysia throughout their study for years now. Based on a previous discussion ACTnow has had with our guest, Dr Thanussha, Vice-President of MUDA, in Hot Issue #whats4lunch, there are currently no proper laws being implemented in Malaysia to protect these young adults.
