POSITIVE
- Protagonists believable
- Captured some parts of culture (landlady asking for money)
- Bisola is good sha... Loved the scene wheres omeone helps her and she begins to pray for the person, felt so real and reminded me of my mother. Breakdown scene, she was fantastic.
- Like the character progression as well as escalating difficulty for the protagonists.
- Loved the Landlady's character (played by Toyin Afolayan). Biodun Stephen is really good at creating memorable characters.
NEGETIVE
- Comedy tunes? even when the scene wasn't funny. I think it spoilt some of the scenes for me.
- Subtitles // how is 'se lo taste bakon' become 'this water is not clean'?
- This could have done with some more subtlety e.g. the Christian parts felt overboard for me.
- Genre... know what genre you are writing.
- The picture choices were a bit confusing, not sure if its the editing or the camera work. Especially changing set-up in the middle of an emotional highpoint.
- Story was predictable.
- Lighting could have been better.
- Scene with couple after she was late was really disorientating turning around.
- Sound issues, there was the audio of picture perfect layered over the films audio (where she says - he had a wife and two kids)
- Not sure of the final reveal...
