EP085: Integrity-based Human Influence with Jenna Richardson

Listen Later

Jenna Richardson and her father have been in the Perfect Practice mentorship group for several years and have built a very successful practice at Princeton Integrative Health. She joins the show today to talk about how the integration of Unblinded Mastery training and living a life of integrity and authenticity have made her practice substantially better.

She takes the time to share the structure of the Integrity-Based Human Influence model and breaks it down into actionable tips for listeners.

Key Takeaways:

[:45] Sachin welcomes mentee and council member Jenna Richardson and asks her what integrity-based influence is and why it’s important.

[4:45] Jenna shares the biggest aha! moment she experienced during the Unblinded presentation and why it led her to pursue the training they offered.

[7:40] Wrapping her head around the notion of integrity required Jenna to push past her own limiting beliefs, lean into her truth, and gain a level of comfort with discomfort; a lot of what we do in the community is going to cause disruption.

[9:05] Jenna identifies the biggest challenge practitioners face and how to tackle them with integrity. She also shares tips on how to tackle everyday issues: recognize and validate.

[12:20] Jenna breaks down and explains the details of the Integrity-Based Human Influence model’s 10 indispensable elements (following the acronym SMALLER QVC):

  • Scarcity
  • Matching and mirroring
  • Acknowledgment
  • Level-five listening
  • Loving unconditionally with boundaries
  • Energetics (4 types: Zeus, Goddess, Aspirational/Inspirational, and Fun!)
  • Reciprocity
  • Question
  • Validation
  • Congruence

[22:37] Jenna dives deeper into the Goddess (feminine, receiving, nurturing) and Zeus (masculine, powerful and confident) energies and what they mean as well as how to match and mirror on Zoom: make sure people can see your body language!

[26:32] Attachment to the outcome used to get in the way of Jenna’s ability to make a consultation about the patient rather than her own excitement at knowing she could make their life better. Letting go of that was key to just providing and holding a listening space for them.

[31:44] Sachin gives Jenna the floor so she can share the importance of self-mastery and lead listeners in listening to a short text she wanted to share. “What if?”
