In this podcast, Dr. Weissman discusses the future of technology and humanity. The podcast was motivated by an article from kotaku.com about a Fortnite player and YouTuber protesting Epic Games for servers in the Middle East to be able to compete with other gamers who are geographically closer to the servers in Europe (link below). The novel, Ready Player One, by Ernest Cline, is also referenced for its portrayal of a potential future lifestyle and application of technology. Dr. Dustin Weissman is a therapist at NeuroSense Psychology (www.neurosensepsychology.com) in Calabasas, CA where he provides therapy to clients and their families who struggle with internet addiction and other related issues. He also works with people facing depression, anxiety, men’s issues, failure to launch, existential issues, and personal growth.
