In this 1st episode, I discuss the concept of the "Santa Claus Effect"- confronting why we believe what we believe when it’s getting challenged. I highlight the sequential similarities that exist when comparing the process as an Adult vs as a Child, explore how the process is exponentially harder to go through as an Adult than it is as a Child, and discover why it's important to recognize this process happening within and around us each day, as well as in the past, and certainly in the future. I set the stage for what this podcast mini-series is going to be about.
We then authentically & candidly dive into the first topic in the series- Information, the flow of Information, “the news”, how it’s controlled, how it's ran, the origins of “conspiracy theory”, the appearance of Truth and what that looks like, etc. I provide perspective- but don't go too deep that you get overwhelmed- to get you to wonder, critically think for yourself, consider doing your own research, and coming to your own conclusions in a sovereign way.
All with guiding principles of best health, unity, humor, and safe space being our playing field.
