Dan Parker is one of the most resilient human beings I've come across, having taking an impossible challenge and turning it into a 10-year recovery which brought him to two land speed records, including the Guinness World Record for the Fastest Blind (folded) driver. These goals gave him purpose in the darkest moments, and has allowed him to not only return to motorsports, but also bring up others around him through the National Federation of the Blind.
