Welcome to the first episode of Racing through Life. This is a podcast hosted by OpenRace co-founders Matthew Cianci & Christian Camarata. OpenRace is a real-time virtual running app striving to connect and motivate runners, as well as help event organizers increase revenue, reach a larger audience and provide a more interactive virtual race. We found that not many people are showcasing this great and very connected running community, so OpenRace wants to amplify that exposure and show the lives of different runners and people within the running community both on and off the track.
It was our pleasure to chat with Neely S. Gracey as our first guest. She was born into the sport of running, grew up in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania and in 8th grade set some big goals for herself. She is an eight-time NCAA DII Champion and still holds two NCAA records. Today, Neely lives near Boulder, Colorado with her husband/coach Dillon and 2 year old son Athens. Between mom life and training, she enjoys coaching her team of athletes through her Get Running Coaching Business.
