Sarah Hesz, Chief Commercial Officer at Bubble talks the normalisation of childcare on demand.
In this episode we talk the normalisation of childcare on demand with Sarah Hesz, Chief Commercial Officer of Bubble, the app that allows parents to browse, book and pay for childcare in minutes. Passionate about the importance of childcare to enable parents to feel fulfilled and happy, Bubble are on a mission to shift the way childcare is perceived and how it has traditionally been massively undervalued.
Before Bubble, Sarah founded a social app called Mush to tackle the loneliness so prevalent amongst new mums. Mush was one of Wired's top startups and worked with the Government's loneliness Minister as well as the Duchess of Cambridge to highlight the lack of support new mums receive and how this contributes to the high prevalence of mental health issues amongst this group.
Sarah has a particular interest in the transition women go through when they become a mother and has delivered a TEDx talk and book on this subject, with a strong belief that childcare plays a vital role in the fight for gender equality.
