Free will is an interesting topic, is it real, is it necessary. Why would you even care, its not like we are ever going to be offered up the roadmap. If that road map does exist and we could see it then I would concede that the lack of free will would matter, if you couldn’t change anything even if you knew what was going to happen, that would be quite scary.

You could know that you were gong to make a decision that would for example kill you and you wouldn’t be able to change it. How could that be possible?

I think that this is less of an argument for the concept of free will and more an argument against the possibility of manned time travel.
