Joey Amenta started his career in "Cloud 9" but that quickly turned to "Taste" who had two top 20 hits in succession. The success was only to last through their first album, and by the time the second album was released the band were ready to throw in the towel. The band was made up of very talented individual musicians and Joey moved to "Redhouse" and Virgil Donati to various projects before joining Southern Sons. Joey became the 'go-to' man when you needed a guitarist, and over the following 20 years played in as many bands.
