But with that aside, Nicki Minaj, as the most commercially successful female Hip-Hop artist is a fascinating case study. Along with her pre-album history that is rarely harped on, Nicki has shown a genuine elevation in her artistry whilst also being one of the most bankable artists of the Century. So, since she's "retired", let's see what her albums say.
