The second story features a frightening late-night encounter. The storyteller describes seeing a black, hunched figure at the top of their stairs shortly after going to bed. Paralyzed with fear and noticing an inexplicable coldness in the room despite it being summer, they recount this unsettling experience as their first brush with the paranormal.
