Chris Freund is the founder and partner of Mekong Capital, an investment company based in Vietnam. Gabrielle has been working with Chris and his team over the last 6 months and Chris is one of the most authentic leaders she has had the pleasure to work with.

Chris originally moved to Vietnam in 1994 and has more than 24 years of direct investment management experience, 21 of which were in Vietnam. Prior to forming Mekong Capital in 2001, Chris Freund was a Vice President and Portfolio Manager with Templeton Asset Management, Ltd., the emerging markets arm of the Franklin/Templeton Group.
