Venezuelan musician Abraham Sarache is the guest of Uncle Prog (Rune Belsvik Reinås) on the Progtalks this time. His progressive metal, with elements of grunge, alternative rock and
math-rock is quite unique and is made even more interesting because of the use of the traditional Venezuelan instrument, the Cuatro. Abraham introduces us to his electric version of this instrument, and how it helps shape his music. We also go into the concepts and philosophies behind his debut album “The Gardener” and his paired EP's “Kaleidoscope of Fears” and “Kaleidoscope of Dreams”. Finally, we talk about future plans, both for playing live, and writing and recording new music.
