【節目簡介】

1979年12月10日，高雄市發生一場重大且極具象徵性的衝突事件─美麗島事件，造成多名參與者被捕。

依據當時的「法律」，參與者很有可能處以死刑，然而在海外臺人的努力連署及施壓下影響了判決結果。

這段可能在歷史課本上會看到的短短幾行字，背後蘊藏的是在美國的「臺灣之音」（Voice of Taiwan）的故事。

【來賓介紹】

應修平

劇場製作人、編劇，現就讀國立陽明交通大學社會與文化研究所博士班，研究興趣為媒介及聲音研究、臺美人歷史及族群認同等。

2017年在劉南芳教授的帶領下，有幸認識美國「臺灣之音」（Voice of Taiwan）創立者張富雄和楊宜宜夫婦，

因此與團隊展開研究赴美進行口述歷史訪談，進而創作紀錄劇場《1977聽見臺灣之音》。
