Tony McGuirk has had an exemplary career in Emergency Management leadership in the UK, as both Chief Executive and Chief Fire Officer, with over 40 years’ experience in emergency and public-sector organisations. He has managed major incidents including multiple rescues, large scale pollution incidents, major evacuations, and major floods.
He has a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management, he is Fellow of the Institution of Fire Engineers, a Fellow of the International Institute of Risk and Safety management, and a Graduate of the Harvard Business School. Alongside consultancy work, he is the Director of Hazmat & Specialised Support for the New South Wales EPA.
