Box Breathing works by releasing nitric oxide into the bloodstream to calm your nervous system, distracting your mind as you count to four, and decreasing stress in your body. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed, especially during these busy holiday times. Whether you’re working the shop floor or you’re the one doing the hectic Christmas shopping, it can feel stressful. Just remember to take a few minutes to re-centre yourself. It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3… 4!
