The Catholic faith is Poland has a reputation for being strong. In today's episode Sister Barbara Dopierala, of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary, explains the restrictions that were put on the Church during Poland's period of being communist, and how that led to a generation of rebellious youth who practiced their faith against the government's wishes. Sister Barbara has been in the United States with her order for many years, but it was her time growing up in communist Poland that formed and prepared her for her vocational call.
