Have you ever invested in a new program and thought to yourself, “This is it! This is the breakthrough I’ve been waiting for in my business?” Have you ever ended a course with disappointment when the results were far less than you imagined? Each day we’re surrounded by new courses, programs, marketing, and ad agencies, and opportunities to invest thousands in the hopes of growing our business. Here’s the thing, CEOs, in order to achieve the sustainable growth in our business that you desire, you have to realize you are the hero of your business. No one else has the power to take your business to new places. This doesn’t have to always be hard or exhausting, but it does require strategy.

As you plan for 2019, there are some key questions you can ask yourself as you set goals. Have you answered all of these within your own 2019 plan for success?

 

1. How are you committed to showing up for your business in 2019?
2. How are you going to show up for your family and yourself?
3. How are you planning on taking your business to new heights? Do you have an action plan of how you will move forward?
4. Where will your company invest in 2019? If you are taking all of the profit as income, you will eventually run your business into the ground?

If you haven’t already, now is the time to make your 2019 goals. Getting by yourself, free from distractions, is the first step to creating powerful goals that maximize your ability to do what you really love. Others’ opinions and thoughts can hinder your ability to really visualize the goals that will work best for you and your business. After you have completed the goals, then you can consult with trusted individuals. If you have a mastermind group or a network that gives you business support, ask if they will review your goals and give feedback. Keep your finished goals visible, you should be looking back at them often. Finally, what are you working towards? Celebrating the accomplishment of those milestones can be a strong motivator.

 

Make this a year in which you take charge of your business in a new way. Remember, YOU are the hero of your business. You have the power to take your company to new heights in 2019, CEOs. Let’s get to it!
