“Stepping stone” is a good way to describe the music of AC/DC as the band’s music has often served as a gateway for fans of hard rock and metal. “Seminal,” “essential” and “kick-ass” all also apply and never more so than in 1980 when they released their Uber-classic Back in Black. While we may prefer the overall discography of original singer Bon Scott (as lovingly detailed in HH EP81) there is no denying the power, groove and importance of this stone cold classic.
