Welcome back!  Today's episode is one I have tried to share for months, but every time I thought I was ready to share, I backed off and reconsidered.  Today, you will hear a true story of a life experience that happened more than 30 years ago and yet when I talk about it, I feel like it happened just weeks ago.  

The world is full of people who have simply lost hope and cannot find a way forward.  People who have nobody to turn to and struggle in silence.  The outcomes don't always lead to people taking their lives, but that doesn't mean we don't have people who have lost all hope and could use a friendly voice to help them.

I am not sure how people will react to this episode, and sometimes I feel like I should just keep this story to myself.  However, in recent years, I have been sharing it more and more and I saw such a positive response that I thought I would release it on my podcast as well.  I saw people open up to me about their own struggles - something I didn't expect at all.  If this episode encourages you to talk to someone in your life or reflect on those around you and how they may be struggling, then I have no reason to regret sharing this story.
