PLS NOTE: This episode was published before we changed the show's name to Your Power Outlet.
(If you are curious as to Why?, tune into Ep. 19, where I share my raw and uncut journey to finding clarity).
****
Here's the Power Seat's challenge:
"I have worked in my industry since I was really young.
I've had a very blessed career, but I've had a very difficult year, where clearly one of my handicaps has come to the forefront which is that I really struggle with confrontation.
Oddly in my careers, I came into a position where I was able to be a leader, early on, and so haven't had to have a tone of confrontations.
This year I have had two confrontations, that the other people have probably had several times in their careers and in business.
For me, I think it really shut me down, more than it should have.
I gave up things that I really shouldn't have, to avoid the conflict.
In every way I am trying to bring my daughter not to be, I am that.
How do I ….. move forward in a way that allows me to enter conflict, deal with it and come out with it. Manage it in a way that isn't about running away from it or avoiding it.
I had the world's biggest opportunity and now I've lost the show, specifically about not stepping into the conversation.
How do I manage this in the future and not lose it again.
Tune into the Episode 12, to hear how other women have navigated similar experiences, from which we all get to choose what resonates and what we want to be intentional about doing differently moving forward.
And PLEASE:
Your Power Outlet Podcast format is easy to replicate in your own world.
What would the outcome be if you ignited your own #PowerOutlet within your organization, at an upcoming conference, or amongst like-minded individuals?
Check THIS out for possibilities, or email [email protected] to explore how.
Cheers and have an awesome rest of your day!
