Educational affiliate marketing works like this ... 

You promote another company’s HIGHLY ETHICAL products, usually with the use of a sales funnel, and those companies pay you a percentage of revenue on every product that you sell. To do this, you have to sign up for an  affiliate program that resonates with you and preferably one that you actually have used and can attest to it's integrity.
