Pearl is an autogynephilic trans woman who began to transition a few years ago. Whenever it came time to make a wish as a child, she'd wish to be a girl. When her former marriage was fading, she followed her curiosity about crossdressing and found the experience to be very emotionally gratifying. However, she primarily experiences the anatomic aspect of wanting to have a woman's body, so she pursued medical transition to change her body in a favorable manner.
