On 5th May 1996, Megumi Yashiki and Narumi Takumi decided to visit the Tsubono Spa Hotel. It wasn't just a regular hotel, it had been abandoned almost a decade before. People called it a Shinrei Supotto, otherwise known as a psychic spot or a haunted place.

They drove from their home city of Himi to Uozo, where the hotel was located. They were never seen again...

What could have happened; could they have been kidnapped by the Yakuza or even North Korea? Or perhaps, was there something paranormal at play...?
