Many would say the issue is that weβve become accepting of the high level of anxiety weβve all been experiencing last years 2020 COVID-19 arrival.Β
Is it starting to feel normal to you?
π¨βπ π©βπ Β I live in Ecuador and it's obvious here how everyone's anxiety not being taken as seriously as they should. In fact, many people act as if they feel fine, until a wrong look at someone in the streets creates a mass hysteria of sorts. The emotional exhaustion we all feel right now has a high degree of relevance.
You see complacency and many are becoming used to feeling like this, so they keep piling more things on top of the anxiety to shroud their pain. Even self-care can become just another thing we have to do. So many public health care individuals are prescribing this and that, offering blood pressure checks and the ever present wear your mask decree β it all feels like hard work. Slowing down is an option no one is talking about to help you get a grip.
