Bernie Carbo was the 16th pick in the 1965 MLB draft. He played 12 seasons in the majors, most notably with Boston and Cincinatti. He shined as one of MLB's next bright stars but, began diminishing that shine through choices he made. His full story can be found in his book, "Saving Bernie Carbo." In this conversation, Bernie told me he only wanted to talk about Jesus. Bernie is one of the most passionate people I have ever met. I hope you enjoy the episode.
