The difference between caregiving and caretaking is significant: offering care someone needs and has requested, vs stepping in (usually unrequested) to manage other people's feelings, fears, worries, anxieties. Pro tip: we usually caretake others as an unconscious way of dealing with our own fears and anxieties...the feelings we don't care for for ourselves. In today's episode we talk about loving people while loving ourselves, and minding our own business instead of minding everyone else's.
