Post Punk, Noise Rock, Pig F**k, The Jesus Lizard could be classified as any of these sub-genres but ultimately they were singular. The combination of Duane Denison’s brilliantly stabbing guitar, the throbbing groove of David Wm Sims & Mac McNally’s rhythm section and the barely contained insanity of David Vow’s howling madness made TJL wholly unique.
