Today we attack the subject of conversion towards electric mobility in India from a different perspective. We have so far talked to original equipment manufacturers both Cars and 2-wheelers, ChargePoint operators, Electricity distribution companies. But today we focus on Research & Development and Government Policies.

We speak with Mr. Sajid Mubashir, who is a Scientist G with the Department of Science and Technology the Government of India, with the Ministry of Science and Technology since 2016, reporting directly to the principal secretary. Sajid’s team is working on creating a Road map for Research and Development in all of the sectors of Electric mobility including battery and Charging Infrastructure, vehicle system integration, electric components, materials, and manufacturing.
