Motorcycle and aviation pioneer Glenn Curtiss had several nicknames, as one might expect from a daredevil innovator who propelled himself and the small town of Hammondsport full-throttle into the future. We might have expected this week’s podcast to be a discussion about motorcycles, airplanes, and all things Curtiss, only we were pleasantly surprised when the Glenn H. Curtiss Museum’s Executive Director, Carol Anne Adams, revealed aspects of the Curtiss story we had never known.
