A stunning sunrise greets the team this morning, and with an early start they begin to hit the snow and the tricky section at Apache Peak.  They don their micro spikes for the first time, avoid falling off the icy trail, slog up a killer hill, trudge through a 4 mile stretch of snowfields, head down Devil's Slide Trail, and finish the day in comfort at the Idyllwild Inn.
